Scavenger Hunt

Every once in a while some of us moms get the itch to get our kids and their friends together. Sometimes we go to the movies or bowling or just even hang out. Tonight was one of those nights. We decided to have the kids go on a scavenger hunt to some of the members in our ward. We started off with pizza at my house and then went on the hunt. They had to get random halloween items from different houses. We had 13 items to collect in 45 min. 

The Winners! Christina, Courtney, Bailey and Kyle ended up with 12 items.

The Loosers! Kaitlyn, Amber, Justin and Jake. This team actually ended up with 13 items however, one of the rules was they only were allowed to collect 1 item per house. They collected a few from each house. Rules are Rules kids!

A few of the items they had to collect were a spider ring, pumpkin seeds a halloween tattoo. A couple of funnies were when we showed up at one house the kids asked for a gourd, well they got an acorn squash already cut in half (I believe she convinced them the squash was a gourd) and just as they were leaving her husband threw in his plastic teeth (that were already in his mouth) in their bag the kids thought that was pretty gross at first but then were laughing and playing around with the teeth at the end. 

After we hunted we went back to the Crowder's home for brownies and ice cream and a game of dodge ball. Thanks to everyone who helped make this night a hit!! and thanks to Karen and Theresa for helping me. 

I believe movie night is already planned next week!
