Today I was able to go to the temple. What a wonderful day I had. I believe every ward in the valley is assigned a day to be there wards day to spend as much time at the temple as they can. Today was our wards day. With much planning and preparation on my part I was able to take Gabe to Tricia's house (thanks again Tricia) scoot my kids off to school, and be at the temple by 9a.m. As soon as I drive in the parking lot of the temple I feel peace. Peace that my kids will be well taken care of, peace that I can take advantage of my alone time and just ponder everything that is going on in my life. I can talk to my husband with no interuption, and feel the love of all that enter in the temple.
I remember when the Las Vegas Temple opened, I was a senior in high school and dating Mike. I was not a member then but, I remember going with my family to check it out. I do not remember much but I do recall the beauty of the temple. That beauty that I remember from back then is still there now. I was able to spend 6 wonderful hours there today, I want to go back soon!

You are on a blog roll! I'm so glad you were able to go to the temple all day. We had fun playing in the water, playing cars, building forts and loving every second of best buddies. We will take Gabe any time.
