Not a bad day after all!

This morning started out pretty bad for me, well probably more embarrassing than anything. I can't believe I am going to post this but, it will make for a good read later. (especially when ella has kids anyway) I changed my car pool this morning because I had a couple kids having meltdowns. Ella for one and then also Olivia, I didn't want my poor car pool buddy to go through what I had for seen was going to take place in the near future. (1st mistake) Let me back track a little, Ella is in kindergarten and loved, loved the first day of school. Since then it has been a constant fight to get her there. Today was not any better, so off to school we went me and my 4 girls and Cheyanne my car pool buddy and also Gabe. Get to school and the crying starts, I really don't know what was said but I do know that I am still in my pj's & hair up, I don't think I even brushed my teeth... gross!! (2nd mistake) So I get out of my car, pry Ella off the seat, still crying, and try to pass her off to Emmalie which was not going to happen. Guess where I am headed with this. YES I had to go into the school with Ella, still crying, and still in my pj's. We get into class and still crying. Long story short, I finally had to pass Ella of to the office manager Cate which is so understanding, took my not so happy child and headed off to class. She even gave me a hug during all this and told me to hang in there. How wonderful is she!! I think it takes Ella about 2 minutes to calm down and hop right into the swing of things.
Silly girl!

On a much happier note, after all that and with little dignity I have left, I was able to spend the rest of my day with Gabe. showered and all. :) Our first trip was to get a haircut, because you always have to get a haircut before you start school. Gabe will be starting preschool tomorrow and he can not wait to see all his friends. We then went to lunch at Bajio.

Gabe always gets a cheese quesidilla and on the side he asks for more shredded cheese.

Second stop was a shaved ice from next door. These are one of Gabes favorite things.

Now, does this look like a girl who doesn't like school?? This is what she does everyday after school. She opens up her backpack gets her homework packet out and says "Mom lets do my homework" I just hope that she will still want to do her homework like this in about 2 months.

Don't be embarrassed! I'm sure many parents have had to go through that. I bet you look cute in your PJs anyway. :) Seriously, though, I'm sorry it's such a struggle to get Ella to school, but she'll get in the swing of things soon. Good luck!

We're going through much the same with Kelsie right now. It is horribly hard, isn't it? Hopefully they'll both work it out and be cooperative about going to schoool soon! Hang in there!

I think the worst part of it was 1st you really do not expect that from your 5th child and i really do not have the patience that i had when jake went to school. and 2nd i did not post the worst part, i also did not have a bra on, so tell me that is not embarrassing.

P.S. Paging Donna, I am waiting for an invite so I can look at your blog...I hear it is way fun!!!
