Lake Trip!

We went to the lake this weekend with our friends the Crowders. I believe it was our last trip of the season and I am bummed! We have had so many great memories this summer at the lake. It is great to get away and relax as a family and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.

This weekend was very mild, there was hardly anyone out there, we pretty much had the lake to ourselves. We were able to throw the anchor out in the middle of the lake and the kids jumped off the front of the boat while the boys jet skied around.

Here is Gabe and Mike. Riding the jet skis is Gabes favorite thing to do at the lake.

Here is Justin and Jake looking cool on the skis. It was so nice to be with a family that has kids all the same ages as our kids that get along so well and to do something that we all enjoy. The boys were on the skis all day. Justin even rode with a broken finger.

Faster dad faster!! Ella would always yell or give a thumbs up to go faster while some of the bigger girls would be saying slower dad slower! If you have not experienced a ride on one of these I definitely recomend it. I laugh the whole time.

I have never seen Jake ride a wake board before, pretty cool hugh! Jack pulled the boys all around on the jet skis while the girls were all swimming.

This is Zoe and her cute friend Riley having a snack.

Emmalie and her friend Jordan hanging out on the raft just chatin' away like girls do.

Here is my sweet Ella she loves to ride on the raft, never wants to get off. I remember one of our first times out at the lake (she was so small), her and I would ride on the raft for ever! She hated to wear her life jacket so the only way we could keep it on her was to take her for a ride.

So for now we will say farewell to the lake and thanks for all the fun memories. Until next summer we will miss you!
